Position Title: National Sales Manager (NSM) Oncology Division
Department: Sales & Marketing

Position Summary:

The National Sales Manager (NSM) for the Oncology Division will be responsible for developing and executing the national sales strategy to drive growth and market share for BDR Pharmaceuticals' oncology portfolio. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with strong business acumen, proven expertise in oncology sales, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement the national sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance across regions, ensuring corrective actions are taken to address any shortfalls.
  • Identify new market opportunities and ensure effective product penetration in target markets.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a robust sales team, including Zonal Sales Managers (ZSMs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Market Development and Customer Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), oncologists, and healthcare institutions to strengthen BDR Pharmaceuticals' presence in the oncology market.
  • Drive promotional campaigns and strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
  • Ensure effective implementation of marketing plans and customer engagement programs.

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory management and availability of oncology products nationwide.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports, market analysis, and competitor insights to senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies and product launches.
  • Partner with medical, regulatory, and R&D teams to align sales strategies with product and market requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field. A Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing oncology products.
  • Proven track record of achieving national sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the oncology market, including products, competitors, and customer needs.

Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of national sales targets and market share growth.
  • Expansion of the customer base and oncology portfolio coverage.
  • Performance and retention of the national sales team.
  • Successful implementation of marketing and promotional strategies.
