Job Description
- Design, code, test, and debug RPG applications to meet business needs.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing RPG applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Work with other systems and platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.
- Collaborate with business analyst, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze and optimize application performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements to keep applications current with evolving business needs and technology advancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience using JDA/ MMS application
- At least 6-8 years work experience in RPG/GPGLE/SQL RPGLE CLP on AS400
- Familiar with connect: Direct file transfer, Control-M job scheduling, MQ set-up
- Experience with proper debugging tools and techniques of interactive and batch jobs
- Expert skills and experience in data migration, integration, and transformation methods
- Ability to write technical documents
- Sub-procedures and Stored Procedures
- Can work independently
- Good programming skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
