Web Developer ( Full Stack)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for our university. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies, a strong understanding of database management, and the ability to integrate various APIs. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar large-scale applications will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development:

• Build and maintain user-friendly and responsive interfaces using React.js/Next.js.
• Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience for diverse stakeholders.

2. Backend Development:

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python FastAPI. o Create RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between frontend and backend.

3. Database Management:

• Design, optimize, and manage databases using MySQL.
• Write efficient queries and maintain data integrity and security.

4. Integration: o Implement and integrate third-party tools and services (e.g., video conferencing, analytics).

• Facilitate smooth integration with other systems like academic management, and student information systems.

5. Testing and Debugging:

• Perform unit and integration tests to ensure application stability. o Debug and resolve any issues in a timely manner. o Provide documentation and technical support for implemented solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Technical Skills:

• Frontend: Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. o Backend: Expertise in Python and FastAPI framework. o Database: Experience with MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).

2. Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.

3. Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in full-stack web development. o Experience working on large-scale web applications or LMS (preferred but not mandatory).
