Job Description
- Develop and Maintain ETL Pipelines: Design, build, and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools to extract, transform, and load data.
- Data Integration: Work on integrating data from various sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files into centralized systems.
- Performance Tuning: Ensure high performance, scalability, and efficiency of ETL workflows and processes.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Analyze and resolve data-related issues, including data quality problems and integration errors.
- Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter or other Informatica tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and schema design.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven track record of working on large-scale data integration projects.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a bonus.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning of ETL processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
