Certificate: Certifications related to Control-M or workload automation.

Control-M Administration at our client company are project-based subject matter experts in all thing s infrastructure good at providing analysis, documenting and diagramming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally figuring it out. This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of their clients.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Control-M Administration.
  Install, configure, and maintain Control-M software and related components.
• Manage and optimize Control-M environments, including Control-M/Server, Control-M/Agent, and Control-M/EM.
• Monitor system performance and perform regular health checks.
  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Control-M and its integrations.
• Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure system security and stability.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for Control-M environments.
• Scheduling and Workflow Management:
• Design, create, and manage job workflows, schedules, and dependencies using Control-M.
• Coordinate with application teams to define and implement job scheduling requirements.
• Monitor job execution, identify and resolve job failures, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Develop and implement job scheduling best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for job schedules, workflows, and processes.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Control-M with other systems and applications.
• Provide support and guidance to users regarding Control-M functionalities and best practices.
• Conduct training sessions and create training materials for end-users as needed.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with Control-M administration and scheduling, including job creation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Control-M components (e.g., Control-M/Server, Control-M/Agent, Control-M/EM).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Perl) for automation and job management.
• Experience with job scheduling best practices and optimization techniques.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications related to Control-M or workload automation.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practice
