PCB Designer and Hardware Validation Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented PCB Designer to join our team in the robotics and IoT industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for robotics and IoT applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. This role requires proficiency in KiCad, a strong understanding of electronics, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to create advanced technology solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts using KiCad based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to refine schematics and component selection.
• Assemble and solder prototypes for testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot and debug PCB issues during development.
• Document designs, processes, and any modifications.
• Work closely with manufacturers to ensure design manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience with PCB design software, specifically KiCad.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, including SMT and through-hole components.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
