About the Role

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and were looking for a Lead Architect(Manage Techno-functional SAP consultants) driving the design, development, and integration of our cutting-edge SAP solutions. Reporting to the Director SAP Practice you will drive and oversee the creation of strategic roadmaps and provide architectural SAP solution designs, while ensuring the integration across connected ecosystems. As part of the SAP practice team, you will review the implementation of user stories in line with the solution design and guidelines for the whole SAP platform and ensure an alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. You will also evaluate architectural changes and contribute to the further development of SAP processes and standards within the company enhancing our differentiating digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design comprehensive solutions for the whole SAP platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices
• Drive the end-to-end solutioning, development, and functional integration across the entire SAP landscape at Barry Callebaut
• Collaborate with the SAP practice team incl. application maintenance analysts, business analysts etc. and ensure architectural blueprints incl. data models, integration plans, and system configurations are in line with technological and strategic requirements as well as our internal Enterprise Architecture guidelines
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment within the SAP environment
• Provide architectural oversight and technical leadership for SAP projects
• Be a contact person for questions on the SAP system and software architecture, serve as a subject matter expert, and lead teams on the implementation / configuration of SAP modules
• Design and manage integration solutions between SAP and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation
• Conceptualize and optimize the SAP architecture and integration, review architectural changes and support stakeholders through the implementation
• Carry out risk and problem analysis, create technical specifications and support the implementation of security measures and standards
• Evaluate and recommend new SAP technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with other technology and business units to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL OR FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

• A minimum of 15+years of relevant working experience as a Techno-functional SAP consultants.
• Over 15+ years SAP experience in SD/MM/PP/WM.
• Should have experience in leading techno-functional SAP consultants
• Extensive knowledge with SAP architecture, designing and implementing SAP solutions, project management, SAP industry best practices
• Deep knowledge of SAP development and customization (incl. SAP Fiori, SAP S4/HANA)
• Deep knowledge of SAP development tools/frameworks (e.g. SAP Web IDE, SAP BTP, SAP Business objects)
• Understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate problems to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated success in instructing diverse teams and driving change in a collaborative way on a global scale
• Ability to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization with technical and non-technical stakeholders
