Head of Reporting & Data Modelling

About The Role.
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Head of Reporting & Data Modelling to lay the foundation for data-driven decision-making.
Reporting to the Director of Insights & Analytics, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital future based on actionable reports and fit-for-purpose data models.
Key Responsibilities Include.
Oversee the Reporting & Data Modelling unit at Barry Callebaut, directly reporting to the Director of Insights & Analytics.
Lead a team of data-, BI-, and UX Engineers to build up data modelling and reporting capabilities.
Develop a framework for governed reporting, including global governance of key performance metrics.
Develop a framework of reporting best practices and training, and build a community to enable reporting across Barry Callebaut.
Oversee the development of reports and dashboards according to business needs, managing the demand and establishing governance.
Ensure the creation and provisioning of analytical data models in line with user requirements and data governance standards.
Support your team with guidance and best practices on report and dashboard development.
Prioritize analytics initiatives based on business value and steer the implementation of new technologies.
This is a global leadership role with key stakeholders located in Brussels, Zurich, and other locations of our global footprint, and thus requires up to 25% travel.
About You.
Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, computer science, engineering, business administration or a comparable field.
Proficient in English.
Deep understanding of roles, processes and technologies around business intelligence, reporting & analytics, and data modelling incl.
related trends.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including the management of multi-cultural, dispersed teams.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Data & Analytics tools (e g PowerBI, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, etc), certifications appreciated.
Extensive experience with SAP Analytics tools, particularly SAC, certifications appreciated.
Experienced in enabling an organization through governed reporting and analytics.
The ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda.
Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams & driving change collaboratively on a global scale.
Independent and self-driven personality.
Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization.
Exhibits a passion for advanced analytics and innovation, constantly seeking new and creative solutions to enhance processes, decision-making and user experiences.
