Mechanical Design Engineer

Introduction: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and proficient knowledge of SolidWorks and simulation tools, particularly in motion analysis. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.
• Conduct motion analysis and other simulations to evaluate designs and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, software, and other system components.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing process and troubleshoot design issues.
• Keep Up ToDate with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical design and motion analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/Master degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, including solid modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Experience with simulation tools for motion analysis and other engineering simulations.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and material properties.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other engineers and non-technical staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Solidworks and simulation software is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
• Experience in a specialized industry, such as automotive or manufacturing, is advantageous.
