Hybrid Working


Onsite role:


Colleagues who perform ‘onsite’ roles will spend four or five days a week working onsite, depending on the requirements of their role and business area.  Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager.  Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business. 


Introduction:


To support running and management of team who hold accountabilities across existing customer management processes for debit and credit cards. Including MI, performance, controls and process / journeys.


What will you be doing?


  • Role holder will report into accountable lead for card products and will act as an SME for numerous processes, controls and capabilities across cards
  • Use data and insights requirements for enacting change across cards
  • Everyday management of controls and processes across the lifecycle of cards
  • Multi system access to ensure SLAs and performance is adhered to for cards
  • Management of exception processes and incidents across existing and future card platforms
  • Conduct on-going review of standard reports and MI and automate high priority asks
  • Assist in managing all key BUK card related BAU activity including stock management, forecasting, transaction authorisation 
  • Engagement with internal BUK team based across multi-sites and some engagement with external providers [i.e. schemes such as Visa and Mastercard]
  • Required to work alongside and provide business direction to project managers and technical SME’s, business analysts and solutions architects. 
  • Collaborate with all Product Managers for debit cards to ensure all areas covered by the wider team run smoothly and can be covered during times of absence.  
  • Help maintain  card relationship for all ‘Run The Bank’ activities with strategic card scheme provider
  • Manage wider team supporting key processes
  • Capable of consolidating complex and data based information into insights and actionable outcomes for Snr Management
  • Day to day management of team with dotted reported lines to different areas

  • A self-motivated team player who is able to naturally assume ownership of initiatives, define, structure and prioritise work for self as well as others but who also has the flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate
  • Strong customer focus and drive to do the right thing for customers and for Barclays
