Shift Engineer/Operator Production

Position Overview:

Responsible for entire machines, production, Maintenance and shift logs

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the production plan from Shift incharge as per schedule

• Managing Manpower for Shift/labour utilization

• Managing the minimum breakdown.

• To operate all machines

• Managing the training schedules for the labours/operators with their skills and training upskills

• KPI monitor shift wise and achieving the targets

• Need to achieve targets on Production without off spec FG

• Communication to the reliever on shift activity including next shift plan , pending jobs, breakdown details and Hold material

• Verification of the corrective action taken on breakdown ,and clearance of the unwanted material from the sight before starting the machine

• The data are recorded in the prescribed format / Registers.

• Any abnormality in machine center is noticed to be brought to the knowledge of the concerned department

• Production lose due to delayed start or early stoppage and idle running of the machinery

• Lean manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen

• Achieve the targeted quality output at all work station under your control and minimize waste generation

• Safety toolbox talk

• Ensure GMP and GHK

Knowledge and skills / Competency Requirement:

• Blow molding, Compounding and injection molding
• Compounding and plastic recycling
• Other manufacturing machine operations

Educational Qualifications and Special Training & Relevant Experience:

• Graduate in Diploma with minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in plastic recycling/Manufacturing
