Head Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef specializing in Continental cuisine to lead the culinary operations of our cloud kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the food delivery industry and expertise in preparing high-quality Continental dishes. They will ensure operational excellence, menu innovation, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Role & responsibilities

Food Quality & Consistency:

• Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion sizes, and packaging for delivery.

• Kitchen Operations:
• Supervise daily operations and optimize workflow for efficiency.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating processes.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure inventory control, and minimize waste.

• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of kitchen staff with expertise in Continental cuisine.
• Foster a positive working environment and ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

• Cost Control & Vendor Management:
• Manage food costs to meet budgetary requirements.
• Establish relationships with vendors and source quality ingredients at competitive prices.

• Order Fulfillment & Delivery Coordination:
• Ensure timely preparation and packaging of orders for smooth delivery.
• Collaborate with delivery partners to maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef or Sr. Chef in the cloud kitchen or food delivery industry.
• Expertise in Continental cuisine is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts with specialization in Continental cuisine.
• Experience with menu costing, inventory software, and kitchen management tools.
