Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Duty Manager to oversee the technical operations of our facility, ensuring efficient and safe maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Technical Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians to ensure that all technical work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, faults, and breakdowns in equipment and systems.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all technical work meets quality and safety standards, and that all equipment and systems are installed, maintained, and repaired in accordance with manufacturers instructions and industry standards.
• Team Management: Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in preparing and managing budgets for technical projects and maintenance activities.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all technical work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports on technical activities, including maintenance schedules, work orders, and incident reports.

Technical Requirements

• Electrical/Mechanical Systems: Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Control Systems: Understanding of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental management.
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree: In a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 Years Experience: In a technical management role, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
