React JS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Work and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team
• Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Proficiency in React.js and Next.js framework.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with React.js state management workflows (such as Flux/ Redux/ Xstate / Recoil)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools Git.
• Familiarity with a good understanding of CSS is a plus.
• Passion to stay on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and an attitude to discuss and bring those into play but with common sense in mind.
• Strong background working with Linux environments is plus
• Understanding of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT) and security best practices.
