Deputy Manager Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

Role & responsibilities

Bangalore International Airport Limiteds (BIAL) sustainability vision is to Touch lives by nurturing a sustainable future through initiatives that drive economic, social, and environmental transformation. Supporting this vision is the sustainability strategy that has provided impetus to its growth. This job will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the specific strategic initiatives contributing to 2030 goals.

Preferred candidate profile

Accountabilities and Major Activities

• The employee is responsible for driving the implementation of sustainability strategy 2030 (Specific initiatives)
• Program management and governance drive for all sustainability initiatives.
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required for the specific initiative
• Data management / Digital portal for Sustainability disclosures
• Accountability for the deliverables
• Sustainable transformation Behavioural Change initiatives

• Behavioural Change programme
• Stakeholder engagement
• Cross functional collaboration
• International frameworks requirements, mapping and implementation
• Collaboratively work to achieve the organization goals
• Participate in meetings, share information and provide input
• Articulate initiative requirements to the stakeholders
• Participate in forums, groups
• Provide periodic reports and updates on projects
• Deliverables as per agreed milestones

Education qualification and certifications (Indicate the level of education and certifications required)

Postgraduate in ESG / Sustainability

Years of Experience (Years of relevant experience required)

Minimum 8 10 years of experience in ESG / Sustainability domain

Computer skills (Indicate the required knowledge on software, applications, hardware etc., that are required)

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Knowledge and work skills [Indicate what knowledge (machines, equipment, processes, systems etc.,) and work skills are required]

Exposure and work experience in: ESG principles implementation & Stakeholder transformation programme

Financial (Eg: Budgets, project costs, capex etc.,)
