Job Summary :

Banas Dairy is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Head of Data Engineering & Analytics. This role involves leading the development and deployment of advanced data engineering and analytics solutions to support strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in data science, analytics, and greenfield projects, with the ability to independently manage a team and deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Science Model Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy data science models to solve business challenges.

- Utilize machine learning algorithms and statistical methods to generate insights and predictive outcomes.

- Ensure the robustness and scalability of deployed models.

Data Pipeline and Workflow Management :

- Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for data science workflows using Azure DevOps.

- Integrate and validate data from multiple sources.

- Collaborate with data engineers.

- Oversee the creation and maintenance of efficient data pipelines and architectures.

Reporting and Visualization :

- Develop and maintain robust reporting systems to monitor and analyze model performance and business metrics.

- Use tools such as Power BI or similar for effective data visualization and communication of insights.

- Communicate findings and recommendations through comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Cloud Computing and Big Data Technologies :

- Leverage Azure Data Services, including Azure Machine Learning and Azure DevOps, for data solutions.

- Explore additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud for optimal outcomes.

- Apply big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.

Team Leadership and Strategy :

- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality projects.

- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Manufacturing Application Integration :

- Understand and integrate manufacturing applications with analytics solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

- Partner with stakeholders to address specific challenges in the manufacturing domain using data-driven methodologies.

Qualifications :

Education : B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.

Experience : 8-12 years of experience in data analytics, data science, and greenfield projects.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Python or R and data science libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).

- Expertise in Azure Data Services, including Azure Machine Learning and Azure DevOps.

- Strong skills in SQL, data warehousing, and data visualization (e.g., Power BI).

- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation for data science projects.

- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).

Domain Knowledge :

- Understanding of manufacturing applications and processes is highly desirable.
