Job Description
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines from [relevant regulatory bodies, e.g., SEBI, RBI, Stock Exchanges, Depositories etc.].
- Ensure the organization's policies and procedures align with the latest regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring the progress of system development to ensure compliance within the prescribed timelines.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and business practices.
- Lead the implementation and enforcement of compliance policies across the organization.
- Risk Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate compliance considerations into strategic decision-making processes.
- Training and Education:
- Design and deliver training programs on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for employees at all levels.
- Foster a culture of compliance awareness and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
- Monitoring the compliances of Branches and Authorised Persons:
- Lead and manage internal investigations into potential compliance violations by Authorised Persons
- Develop and implement corrective actions based on investigation findings.
- Inspection and Audit Support:
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance audits/ Inspections.
- Address and rectify any compliance issues identified during audits/ Inspections.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Provide updates on the status of compliance initiatives and issues during leadership meetings.
- Automation of reportings to ensure error free reporting.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to the compliance program.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization and efficiency within the compliance function.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and communications.
- Communicate compliance-related updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
