Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

Review data, analyse financial and non-financial information, prepare detailed Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs).
Recommend or approve CAMs on the basis of authority delegation matrix for Mid-Market Business
Train/ mentor and manage junior credit analyst (s) reporting into the position
Detailed understanding of financials and due diligence process for lending.
Perform detailed industry/ management/ company research.
Meet and interact with clients and other banks regularly.

Should be well versed with Expertise on MS office    

Required Qualifications and Experience

Chartered Accountant /MBA Finance with 12-15 years of relevant experience in underwriting/credit risk management of high ticket secured/ working capital/term loans.
Sound knowledge of diverse industry segments including (but not limited to) Auto Component, Engineering, Chemicals, Rubber & Plastics, Pharmaceuticals etc.
Extremely good knowledge & understanding of North India market for Corporate Lending, strong network of client and peer bank relationships
Knowledge of working capital, term finance, acquisition finance etc products
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and good team player.
