Relationship Manager Corporate Business - Broking

Broker Management

• Identify business opportunities/ corporate clients to target e.g. large accounts, for driving sales and generating revenue for the business through brokers
• Build Long term relations with Brokers by understanding needs and assist in resolving escalated issues.
• Engage with Brokers to enhance visibility and increase engagement with the ultimate aim of converting into business
• Analyze and propose rewards or campaigns for constant engagement.
• Support team in creating appropriate deals for existing/ new clients and managing the relationship effectively to ensure client acquisition, engagement and retention
• Drive renewals through maintaining servicing standards and provide competitive pricing

Portfolio Management

• Maintain in depth understanding of market, developments across various sectors and various products to have informed discussions with brokers while pitching to them for business/ discussing other business matters
• Plan for Peak dates of Renewals and prioritize manpower alignment and service them accordingly.
• Analyze relationship with respect to cases such as non-renewable base, business under threat, why a relationship is degrowing, etc.
• Maintain quality of product portfolios to ensure portfolios offered meet clients requirements as well as generate product/ LOB wise revenue to achieve defined targets
• Analyze the P&L on monthly basis for loss minimization and for balancing the portfolio

Team Management

• Participate in selection process to identify the right talent for positions within the sales and servicing team.
• Set objectives, monitor and review team performance at regular intervals.
• Handhold team by constantly guiding them and managing expectation of brokers during the entire process from the RFQ to policy issuance.
• Monitoring new Client acquisition on a weekly basis
• Mentoring and guiding the Team
• Drive monthly reviews with team members and weekly reviews with direct reports to keep a check on overall team s performance
