Job Purpose:

The UK Tax Associate for CT600 will assist in the preparation and filing of Corporation Tax returns (CT600) for clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax laws. The role will involve working closely with senior team members and developing an understanding of corporate taxation regulations and the CT600 process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file CT600 (Corporation Tax) returns for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK tax laws.
• Assist with the preparation of tax computations, including adjustments for tax accounting differences and group relief claims.
• Support the review and analysis of financial statements for tax purposes, identifying key tax adjustments.
• Maintain and organize client tax files and documentation to support tax compliance.
• Research relevant UK tax rules, guidance, and case law to ensure the correct application of tax principles.
• Assist senior team members in managing client relationships and resolving tax-related issues.
• Liaise with HMRC on client matters and manage queries where required.
• Help identify tax planning opportunities for clients to reduce their corporate tax liabilities.

Skills and Experience:

• A basic understanding of UK Corporation Tax (CT600) requirements.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A willingness to learn and grow within a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software.
