Job Description
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies
- Ensure that purchased goods meet the company quality standards and specifications.
- Verify and approve product samples, ensuring alignment with quality requirements.
- Review purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy and adherence to agreed terms.
- Keep track of market trends and pricing, and advise the management team on cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including orders, vendor contracts, and invoices.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and cost savings initiatives.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control for the purchasing department.
