Azure Data Engineer Tech Lead- RVN

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Azure data technologies.
• Proven experience in leading and managing data engineering teams and large-scale data initiatives on Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure data services including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in designing and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure-based tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and other scripting languages such as Python or Scala for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, particularly Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong understanding of big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their implementation on Azure.
• Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization techniques for both structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of data security practices and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations in the cloud.

Cloud Infrastructure:

• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and pipeline automation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes in a cloud environment is a plus.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, mentor junior engineers, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
