Job Description
We seek a passionate and skilled Machine Learning Engineer with 2+ years ofhands-on experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation instatistics, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and feature engineering, withknowledge of recommendation systems as a plus. You will work closely with datascientists and software engineers to build and deploy machine learning modelsthat drive critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data teams to design, implement, and optimise machine learning models.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and relationships in data.
- Build and engineer features to improve model accuracy and performance.
- Optimise and fine-tune algorithms for large datasets.
- Collaborate on model deployment and monitor model performance in production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in machine learning and data science.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (and/or R) and popular machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong knowledge of statistics, EDA, and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with recommendation systems is a plus.
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Good understanding of data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL) and visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
