Job Title: Senior PLSQL Developer / PostGreSQL

Years of Experience: 8 years

Location: Hyderabad

Summary:

l Qualifications & Experience:

l Bachelors / Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

l 5 to 7 years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)

l Good communication and teamwork skills

l Very good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills

l Should be an excellent team player

Mandatory:

l Strong in SQL and PL/SQL

l Must have the ability to debug / troubleshoot complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, Procedures and Functions.

l Assist with performance tuning of the complex queries, procedures, programs in production, development and test environments

l Preparation of database scripts and applications for deployment of builds and releases

l Design and implementation of data models

l Understanding and experience in Database Architecture

l Root cause analysis and preventative steps for reported defects

l DBA knowledge related performance aspects

Added advantage:

l Knowledge of Linux and other operating systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

l Participate in the design and architecture of new and existing features.

l Development (write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code), Code Review, Unit Testing & Integration testing.

l Deployment of applications in internal / external environments.

l Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

l Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

l Continuously improve software engineering practices.

l Guiding and Mentoring Junior/New Members in the team.

l Customer interfacing / communication to provide technical responses.
