Role & responsibilities

1. You are designated in Radiology Department for preparing all reports of Imaging department
i.e. CT, MRI, X Ray / Ultrasound, Dexa Mammography and maintaining PNDT From F and
records related to PNDT.

2. To update the admission details of patient so that maximum work of discharge-
documentation is completed ahead of time. You have to enter the discharge posting of all
files, daily.

3. In surgical cases, prepare the discharge summaries in anticipation with given templates.

4. Discharge summary needs to be prepared in software following instructions from Provisional
Summary made by R.M.O.

5. To ensure that discharge summary is prepared on time & is being forward.

6. You will be responsible for getting the Discharge Summary signed by R.M.O. & getting it
countersigned by the Consultant 1/e.

7. You will hand over the Summary, duly checked & signed and amendments made (if any), to
the patient/attendants after confirming the full & final settlement from Billing Department.

8. If the summary is not given at the time of discharge due to any reason, you will make the
provision for getting it delivered to their residence/keep them at Reception or Consultant's
Chamber (as per procedure).

9. Keep a self-maintained dictionary of frequent used medical words and terminology for
smooth working.
