Manage litigation before various courts, tribals, and forums, ensuring fair representation for the company in all cases. 2. Draft and vet pleadings, petitions, applications, affidavits, legal notices, and related legal documents, ensuring that all potential legal grounds are considered. 3. Coordinate with advocates, senior counsels, and AORs for briefing. 4. Provide advice and support to the Business Coverage Group, Client Servicing and Operations Team on matters related to regulatory compliance, insolvency, default, enforcement, and recovery. 5. Efficiently handle and regularly update the litigation management system, briefing the senior internal management as required. 6. Assist in taking symbolic/physical possession of properties, public auction, realization of monies, and connected activities. 7. Perform research on legal issues and update stakeholders on new judgments/cases relevant to the trustee industry. 8. Liaise, communicate, and manage relations with lenders, bondholders, investors related to enforcement / recovery / default / liquidation matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Law from a recognized University. - Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role. - Strong understanding of regulatory, insolvency, default, enforcement, and recovery matters. - Excellent drafting and vetting skills. - Strong research and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
