Guidewire Consultant - Configuration & Integration (3-15 yrs)

Job Description :

- 3+ years of working in insurance industry

- 3+ years of experience working in Guidewire configuration and customization

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle

- Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

- Proficient work in Java and Guidewire Gosu extension framework

- Front-End: UI - AngularJS or React used, Bootstrap and CSS framework

- Application servers Oracle WLS/Apache Tomcat or IBM WebSphere

- Databases - Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server/PostgreSQL

- Backend/Integrations - Rest and SOAP API's

- Authentication methods (SSO, OAuth/SAML standards, TLS/SSL encryptions)

- DevOps - CI/CD - Gitlab, Jenkins, Configuration management - Ansible, Puppet and Chef

- Given that Accenture's global working language is English and all work is conducted within an international context, strong English communication skills are essential for this role.

- Designing and developing software solutions using Guidewire Insurance Suite components such as Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center, and Datahub.

- Configuring and customizing Guidewire applications to meet specific business requirements. Integrating Guidewire with external systems and third-party applications.

- Developing and executing test cases to ensure software quality and reliability. Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

- Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Analyzing and troubleshooting complex technical issues within Guidewire applications.

- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Staying updated with the latest Guidewire versions, tools, and technologies.

- Participating in Agile development processes and contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite components and architecture.

- Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Guidewire configuration, integration, and customization. Familiarity with web services, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Certification in Guidewire development or related areas is a plus.

Desired Qualifications :

- Certifications are based on specific Guidewire areas PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, InsuranceSuite, Digital and others (Specialist, Professional, Ace)

- Docker and Kubernetes experience is considered as advantage

- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe
