Order Processing Specialist

As our Order Fulfillment Associate, you will be directly responsible for the processing of all our online orders in a timely fashion so that we guarantee same day shipping to help the company grow our sales. Today, our customers expect fast shipping as a basis for placing an order. As a result, your performance will be critical in getting all of our messaging right, and assisting the customer in making their decision to buy our products.

We are looking for a team player who gets excited being organized, loves working methodically and deeply, and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. Our ideal candidate loves to be on top of things and working with other people.

What you will do

• Process customer orders through our EDI
• Create sales orders and invoices in Sage 300 ERP
• Process online orders from warehouse and ensure that orders are properly picked and prepped for shipment to customers in a timely manner for best customer satisfaction
• Update inventory using transaction manager EDI and various customer websites.
• Reconcile outgoing shipments.
• Review and manage shipping lead time and delivery time performance of key accounts and work with respective Internal Teams and External companies (Warehouses and FedEx/UPS).
• Manage delivery performance issues gather data and analyze data, communicate with carriers as well as warehouses
• Monitor inventory levels and submit orders to the various warehouses.
• Communicate with warehouses regarding tracking updates and shipments
• Communicate daily with various internal teams (fulfillment, customer service, warehouse, logistics, finance, e-commerce)
• Review any order processing issues
• Ensure that any order or shipping delays are addressed and corrected immediately
• Ensure orders are shipped out as promised by reviewing reports at the end of each day
• Manage reporting to verify all e-commerce orders have been fulfilled by the order ship date
• Communicate any shipment delays or order issues to the warehouses and e-commerce retailers
• Work in our ERP system to ensure orders are closed out daily

• Minimum of 2+ years experience as an Order Fulfillment Associate
• Bachelors degree in relevant subject
• Ability to manage many conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly Detail oriented
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel with exposure to databases and statistical analysis software.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
