We are currently looking for a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Supervisor to join us at our facility in Gurgaon, India.

General Description.

The primary role of this position is to lead Product Stewardship Supporting Centre in India (PSCI) team and at the same time as an integral part of PSCI team to support global Product Stewardship and Regulatory function on timely Customer and Operations Support and Raw Material Data Governance Support.

Specific Leader Responsibilities.

Establish and maintain written procedures and work instructions for all recurrent processes and ensure all procedures are consistently followed within Axalta Product Stewardship Supporting Center in India (PSCI).

Promote efficiency within PSCI, including better use of existing tools and the addition of new tools or programs that will deliver efficiency, improved service or reduce costs.

Customer and Operations Support.

Ensure that a mechanism is in place to receive requests from internal and external customers, such as through a web-based submission system.

Ensure that all requests are routed to a staff member for completion.

Monitor the request tracking system to ensure customer expectations are met with respect to agreed up on timeframe for request completion.

Analyse the request tracking system to identify opportunities to improve customer service or to anticipate customer requests or develop tools to provide more proactive customer service.

Fulfil PSRC customer requests in a timely manner as an integral member of PSCI team, including but not limited to:.

Issue Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Environmental data sheets (EDS), IMDS/CAMDS sheets, SVHC/ RoHS/GADSL declarations, Banned & Restricted substance free statements, Certificate of Components (COC), etc.

Gather data and prepare reports related to the product stewardship and regulatory function for various purposes in support of company operations, including but not limited to HAPS/VOC reports, hazardous substance reports, substance volume tracking, etc.

as an integral member of PSCI team.

Raw Material Data Governance Support.

Maintain accurate written procedures and work instructions for raw material related processes in PSCI.

Ensure that all processes for raw material regulatory data management are performed correctly.

Provide supervision to PSCI team members to ensure consistency in data management practices.

Continually seek to improve work practices and processes related to regulatory raw material data management, including process efficiency improvements, cycle time reduction, cost reductions, and data quality improvements.

Complete global raw material regulatory requests as required as an integral member of PSCI team, including but not limited to:.

Acquire raw material vendor SDS, pre-screen the change validities and complete the raw material changes following established procedures.

Ensure that revised vendor SDS are adequately reviewed for new or updated information, make the appropriate changes in the designated IT systems.

Upload revised vendor SDS to the designated IT systems.

Review the regulatory status of raw materials and components to ensure compliance with global substance management requirements or other applicable requirements.

Qualifications.

Bachelors degree or higher in chemistry or related field.

Strong leader with team supervision/management skills.

5+ yearsexperiences in product stewardship and/or regulatory affairs function, preferably in a multinational corporate environment.

Practical experiences in interpreting product regulatory requirements for chemical products.

Knowledge and experience assigning GHS classifications.

Knowledge and experience in SDS and label authoring/preparation.

Ability to understand complex regulations pertaining to chemical substances.

Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Customer-focused, result-oriented and be able to work under pressure.

Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office products.

Minimum 2 years in paint or related industry, preferred.
