Job Description

DevOps Engineer with a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and hands-on experience in DevOps projects.

Hands-on experience in automating operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring,troubleshooting and resolving issues in dev, test, and production environments.

Demonstrate sound knowledge and hands-on experience with various DevOps tools.

Maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters to manage containerized applications across multiple environments.

Apply in-depth knowledge of Apache Hadoop and its ecosystem.

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Automation Development: Expert in developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
2. Manage installation on offline/airgap environments and ensure seamless operations.
3. Demonstrate advanced scripting and automation skills in Shell, Python, etc.
4. Hands-on experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker/ Swarm.
5. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI.
6. Integration: Integrate Ansible with other tools and systems, such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging solutions, to create end-to-end automation workflows.
7. Possess in-depth knowledge of Apache Hadoop and its ecosystem, including deployment of clusters and components.
8. Employ various DevOps tools to monitor and manage infrastructure effectively.
9. Hands-on on deployment processes to ensure stability and high availability.
10. Manage version control systems, including Git and Subversion (SVN).
11. Exhibit excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
12. Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk.
13. Coordinate and manage projects using collaboration tools like Jira/ ServiceNow
14. Ensure code quality and security with tools like SonarQube etc.
15. Relevant certifications will be added advantage
16. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
17. Good knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
18. Worked on Ticketing system likes OpsGenie, HP Remedy
