Job Description
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, focusing on the frontend experience.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive and mobile-optimized websites.
- Customize themes, plugins, and templates to achieve project goals.
- Optimize website performance for speed and accessibility, prioritizing fast loading times and responsiveness across devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues related to functionality and appearance.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development and WordPress.
Skill & Abilities:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Frontend/Theme Developer or in a similar role.
- Gutenberg and Pattern Library Knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of using Webpack, Gulp/Yarn required.
- Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies (jQuery, AJAX, etc.).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and core functionalities.
- Mastery of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind to create responsive and visually appealing layouts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, project managers).
- Top-notch problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines efficiently.
