Frontend Developer- WordPress & Shopify

Avya Technology is seeking a passionate and skilled WordPress Frontend Developer with additional expertise in Shopify to join our growing team in Noida. You'll play a crucial role in bringing our designs to life and creating user-friendly websites across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, focusing on delivering a seamless frontend experience.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, mobile-optimized websites.
• Customize themes, plugins, templates, and Shopify apps to achieve project goals.
• Optimize website performance for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility across all devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues related to functionality and appearance on both WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development, WordPress, and Shopify.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Frontend/Theme Developer or in a similar role, with significant exposure to Shopify development.
• Strong understanding of Shopify's theme architecture, Liquid templating language, and app integrations.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies (jQuery, AJAX, etc.).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, Gutenberg editor, and core functionalities.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind to create responsive and visually appealing layouts.
• Expertise in using Webpack, Gulp/Yarn, and other modern frontend build tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, project managers).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines efficiently.
