QA Engineer

Avya Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. We need someone with 3-4 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, creating test plans, and basic knowledge of automation. Responsibilities:

• Test software to make sure it works properly and meets the requirements.
• Create and run test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Find, report, and track bugs, and work with developers to fix them.
• Help in automating test cases and improve automation tools.
• Work with the development and product teams to ensure high-quality software.
• Keep all test documentation up to date, including test plans and results.
• Suggest improvements for the testing process and help make them happen.
• Report on testing progress, issues, and key metrics to the QA Manager.
• Follow industry and company standards for testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
• Knowledge of testing methods and tools.
• Experience in writing and running test cases.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
