Senior QA Manager

Avya Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. We seek a professional with 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management position. Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a quality strategy that aligns with product objectives and business goals.
• Test Planning: Oversee the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software projects.
• Quality Assurance: Manage end-to-end quality assurance activities, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Automation: Drive the adoption of automation tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve QA processes, ensuring the use of best practices in all stages of software testing.
• Metrics and Reporting: Define key quality metrics, and provide detailed reports and insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks to product quality and release timelines, implementing proactive strategies for mitigation.
• Compliance: Ensure that software testing aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Client Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for US clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
• Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of testing activities, including test plans, test cases, and results.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proven experience in test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
