We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Test Pilot to join our dynamic team.

As a Drone Test Pilot, you will be responsible for conducting flight tests on our UAV prototypes and production models to ensure they meet performance standards and safety regulations.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in refining our drone designs and advancing our technological capabilities.

Responsibilities.

Conduct flight tests on UAV prototypes and production models in various environments and conditions.

Evaluate aircraft performance, stability, and control characteristics during test flights.

Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues or anomalies encountered during testing.

Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement design improvements based on test results.

Develop test plans and protocols to validate new features and functionality.

Maintain accurate records of test flights, including flight logs, performance data, and observations.

Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety protocols during all test operations.

Provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements and future development efforts.

Assist in training and mentoring junior test pilots or flight operations personnel.

Requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience as a professional UAV pilot or test pilot, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Hold a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent certification.

Excellent piloting skills and proficiency in operating a variety of UAV platforms.

Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and aircraft systems.

Familiarity with flight testing procedures, data analysis techniques, and safety protocols.

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Flexibility to travel occasionally for field testing and demonstrations.
