What You ll Do:

• Manage a team of quality engineers who are dedicated to agile teams. Responsible for their performance reviews including mentoring and coaching
• Establish and standardize QA procedures and policies across all the agile teams
• Responsible for ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet the quality and reliability standards
• Review and establish metrics for assessing software quality and evaluate results for continuous improvement
• Research and implements new or improved testing methods, processes, tools, and systems and develops and coordinates appropriate test procedures.
• Thought leader for quality principles and processes in the design, development, testing, and delivery of applications.
• Is an Expert at various QA automation tools and technologies
• Drive the QA automation effort across the enterprise while reducing manual QA to a minimum
• Will be responsible for identifying and bringing in right tools from the market as per project needs to support & establish the Automation Initiative, and to make it successful within the forecast.
• Provide detailed status updates of all active projects, including overall product quality, outstanding product difficulties and milestones achieved.
• Ensure that business requirements for each project are verified with business users, project managers, and developers.
• Create strong collaborative team environment.
• Recruit, develop and retain staff, partnering with Senior Management, Recruiting and Human Resources. This includes on-boarding and orientation for new hires.

• Bachelors degree in engineering
• 5 years experience in managing QA teams including at offshore location
