One of the tier one law firm is looking to hire Assistant Manager / Manager - Accounts Payable & MIS with 5+ years of experience in their Mumbai location.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Estimated for advance tax + Annual accounts + Monthly MIS + Special management reports etc.
- Banking work which includes; downloading bank statement and providing relevant extract to collection / accounts payable team, taking forex rate for selling forex received from client and maintain database for the same, email to concerned team for such forex sale, collection of bank statements, FIRC, Bank guarantee / Term loan / Overdraft facility related work with bank, Bank account opening work etc..
- Helping general counsel office of Firm for partnership changes - Admission / retirement of partners
- Insurance renewal, Lease database + documents maintenance
- To lead Accounts Payable department - Includes supervising Vendor / Payee creation, review of vendor Invoices, Tracking of Purchase order; Instruction for vendor payments, review of Bank letters, Elite entries, etc.
- Co-ordinating with bank for vendor payments includes emailing bank payment letters, follow up with bank, resolving bank queries etc.
- Elite ledger scrutiny, Elite Voucher audit, GST CENVAT Credit reconciliation between vendor register and GSTR 2B
- Dealing with IT team for Elite reports relating to accounts payable - Creation of new reports / Maintenance of existing reports.
- Vendor reconciliation, Business development activity MIS Reporting, Special reports for repairing of Firm offices, Supervision of Counsel payment reconciliation
- Dealing with inter department (HR / IT / Admin / PO) for vendor payment related work
- Supervision of Record maintenance both physical and soft
