We are currently seeking a qualified Embedded Software Test Engineer with expertise in C language for our avionics products. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in embedded software testing, with a solid understanding of DO-178B/C standards. As part of our team, you will help maintain the highest quality in our avionics systems, contributing to critical projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans, and develop and execute test cases and scripts for avionics software in accordance with DO-178B/C standards.
• Derive test cases from systems requirements and software design requirements.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and software engineers to develop test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Review and analyze software requirements and designs to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Participate in code review activities and provide feedback.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software testing, with a strong focus on C language.
• Experience with DO-178B/C standards and processes.
• Experience with Unit Testing (UT), Software Integration testing (SI), Hardware Software Integration testing (HSI), and system level testing for avionics software.
• Experience with using software testing tools like RTRT, LDRA, or VectorCAST.
• Experience with using Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and software debugging tools such as Trace32, Code composer, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
