Head - R&D - Numerical Relays (15-30 yrs)

We are looking for strong 15 Years of experience into Numerical Relays /Metering.

Role expectation:

The R&D Head will spearhead and keep us on the competitive edge for all product development initiatives. This individual will use their strong technical foundation to create clear product visions that align with company and customer requirements to create the best products by leveraging the brainpower of multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be technically well versed with Power Systems knowledge and terminology, with a specific focus on Power System

Protection and/or Recording.

Responsibilities:

- Work jointly with Sales & Marketing, Applications Engineering and Product Managers to identify requirements, trends and new innovations within the Power Systems and other industry sectors.

- Responsible to manage& guide a R&D team of 30+ members, which includes Firmware, Hardware, Software, Project management & Validation team.

- Responsible for Product Designing, Development, Architecting & bringing the technical innovations for the present & future products.

- Responsible for the conceptualization, feasibility and definition of projects encompassing hardware, embedded firmware and user interface software.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or higher academic credentials in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with Power Systems focus, or equivalent industry experience.

- Minimum 15+ years practical working experience with similar electric power systems and sound knowledge of practices & philosophies.

- Ability to compile and assess information from various sources (industry standards, technical specifications, market data, etc.) to develop actional development specifications.

- Must have Architect level technical expertise either in Firmware or Hardware design & development.
