Job Title: Modern Workplace Specialist / Engineer

Job Summary:
The Modern Workplace Specialist/Engineer is responsible for implementing and managing modern workplace technologies and solutions that enable employees to work efficiently and securely in a hybrid or remote work environment. This role supports the integration, configuration, and optimization of tools for collaboration, communication, and productivity, ensuring seamless operations across all devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage cloud-based productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, to improve workplace efficiency and collaboration. Configure and maintain collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other workplace solutions.
• Configured Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute for secure connectivity between on-premises systems and Azure. Managed Azure Load Balancers and Application Gateways for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Oversee endpoint management tools e.g Microsoft Intune, Power Bi to ensure devices are properly secured, compliant, and up-to-date for employees across various locations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees using modern workplace technologies. Ensure quick resolution of issues related to communication tools, cloud apps, and device management.
• Work with IT teams to ensure secure access to corporate resources, utilizing the best practices for cloud security, data protection, and remote access. Implement security policies and user access control mechanisms.
• Design and automate workflows using tools like Power Automate, Zapier, or other integration platforms to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
• Train employees in the effective use of modern workplace tools and ensure high adoption rates of new technologies. Create and maintain knowledge bases, tutorials, and user documentation.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and solutions to improve the modern workplace environment, supporting a hybrid and remote workforce while maintaining productivity and collaboration.
• Manage projects related to workplace technology upgrades or migrations, ensuring projects are completed on time and meeting organizational goals. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing support and improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other cloud-based productivity tools.
• Provided support for Azure-based infrastructure, resolving issues related to VMs, networking, storage, and security. Utilized Azure Log Analytics and Azure Diagnostics to perform root-cause analysis and resolve performance issues.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE).
• Knowledge of security practices for cloud services, identi ty management, and data protection.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud-based platforms, operating systems, and workplace technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for training, support, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Project management experience is a plus, especially for managing system upgrades and tool integrations.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Administrator, or similar are preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Well experience in Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, PowerShell, Azure CLI.
• 3+ years of experience supporting modern workplace technologies and solutions.
