Position Associate: Front-end Investment Banking
Qualification:
MBA from top tier B School. 1-3 years of relevant experience in front-end/middle-office Investment Banking.
CA with 3 -4 years of relevant experience in front end/ mid office Investment Banking
We are hiring for associate roles across various sectors. For FIG and Infrastructure sectors, we are looking at candidates with specific experience in these sectors. For other sectors, we are looking at sector agnostic experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Deal Execution:
- Prepare collaterals including detailed financial models, investor memorandum, valuation materials, data book with analysis and insights.
- Effectively coordinate the due diligence and documentation process, and front-end the relationship with the respective client representative
- Engagement tracking, reporting and housekeeping (maintaining updated client agreements, NDAs, OPEs, etc.)
- Represent the client's business in investor / buyer-seller interactions
Sector coverage & Support towards Business Development:
- Map assigned segment (product, geography/industry group) and build understanding/expertise of that segment on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct outreach to potential clients and investors
- Maintain a database of companies in assigned segments
- Effectively maintain relationship with investors or company professionals on the deal to have a recall
- Prepare Pitch Documents and other client presentations
Practice Development Support:
- Support practice-level initiatives for lead generation, capability development and brand building initiatives
