IT Strategy Head

Job Summary:

The IT Strategy Head / Practice Head specializing in AI-driven automation will lead the development and execution of the company's IT strategy, with a particular focus on AI-driven automation and internal IT infrastructure management. This role is a 50% strategic and 50% functional position, which means the individual will be responsible for both shaping the long-term IT vision and ensuring the practical, day-to-day execution of the strategy across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of emerging technologies, AI, and system integrations, as well as experience managing global teams and stakeholder relationships. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibilities (50%):

• Develop IT Strategy: Lead the formulation of a long-term IT strategy that aligns with the company's goals, leveraging AI-driven automation and emerging technologies to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and support business growth.
• Innovation Leadership: Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies (such as Generative AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation) and their application within the company to drive innovation.
• AI-Driven Automation: Identify opportunities for applying AI and automation across various internal IT operations (e.g., help desk, incident management, workflow optimization).
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-level executives and key business stakeholders to align IT strategies with organizational objectives, ensuring clear communication of IT goals, progress, and challenges.
• Digital Transformation: Lead the organization's digital transformation initiatives, incorporating AI and automation to modernize legacy systems and enhance overall IT agility.

Functional Responsibilities (50%):

• Internal IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of the companys internal IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets the operational needs of the business while being scalable, secure, and efficient.
• System Integration and Connectivity: Drive internal systems connectivity and integration using AI technologies to ensure seamless data flows across different systems and departments.
• Automation Execution: Implement AI-driven automation tools and systems to streamline day-to-day IT operations, reduce manual efforts, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with IT, business, and development teams to implement the strategy while maintaining alignment with operational priorities.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the performance monitoring of AI-driven IT systems, ensuring that they are effective in solving business problems, and leading continuous improvement efforts.
• Governance and Risk Management: Ensure IT strategies comply with regulatory and organizational standards and implement best practices for AI governance, data security, and risk management. The role would entail monitoring the performance of AI-driven IT systems and addressing issues proactively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: ➢ 18-20 years of proven experience in IT strategy development and implementation. 10+ years in a strategic role.

➢ Extensive expertise in AI technologies and their application in IT systems.

➢ Strong track record of managing AI-driven automation projects.

➢ Working experience with emerging technologies assessment, evaluation, and implementation.

Technical Skills:

➢ Proficiency in AI frameworks, machine learning tools, and automation technologies.

➢ Knowledge of system integration, cloud platforms, and IT architecture.
