Job Title: AVP - Planning & Investor Relations
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: CFO
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an AVP - Investor Relations. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, providing timely updates to investors, and supporting strategic initiatives related to equity raising and business planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a key point of contact for investors and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors.
- Address investor inquiries and ensure timely and accurate communication of company updates.
Investor Updates:
- Prepare and present comprehensive investor updates, including financial performance, business developments, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, investor decks, and presentations.
- Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
Business Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and insights for strategic business planning.
- Support financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to align with investor expectations and business goals.
- Assist in the development of key performance metrics to measure and communicate business success.
Equity Raising Framework:
- Support the design and implementation of frameworks for equity raising and capital allocation strategies.
- Assist in identifying potential investors and preparing relevant pitch materials.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and maintain necessary documentation for fundraising efforts.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, business planning, and the preparation of investor materials.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
- Knowledge of market trends, investor behavior, and corporate finance principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with startups, NBFCs, or high-growth organizations.
- Exposure to equity raising processes and investor engagement strategies.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
