Job Description
- Managing overall operations and guide the design team as Head of D&D.
- Responsible for successful product design, production, delivery and regulatory approval to drive revenue and profit growth.
- Design experience on respiratory products like, CPAP/BiPAP, Oxygen Concentrators, Ventilators and other products like patient Monitoring device, Endoscopes e.tc is essential and should guide design team to realize the products.
- Should have knowledge on biomedical sensors like flow, pressure, Oxygen, temperature, solenoid volve and blowers e.t.c and deriving algorithms, implement to realise system features.
- Should have hardware knowledge for design of the above respiratory products.
- Should have thorough understanding of standards and manufacturing licence for products like respiratory, endoscopy, syringe and infusion pumps.
- Should have knowledge on ISO 13485 process.
- Present and next-generation, innovative product concepts to lead the teams for conversion from idea to project implementation.
- Conceptualize innovative designs, generate, and evaluate prototypes.
- Handle regulatory filings and approvals for new products.
- Collaborate with Head of Operations to improve manufacturing processes.
- Engage with Marketing and Business Development for product development initiatives, based on emerging market needs.
- Build and lead successful product development teams with the right talent and skill sets.
- Participate in product promotions, marketing shows, trade expos, academic interactions, technical symposiums, etc., in consultation with management to build the Imeds brand.
- Provide inputs to devise successful strategies for profitability and accelerated growth.
