Dell Boomi Developer - AtomSphere Platform (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dell Boomi Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of integration principles and extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions using the Dell Boomi platform.

This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate effectively with various application teams. The position is remote and open to candidates anywhere in India.

Responsibilities :

- Requirements Analysis & Design : Understand business needs, translate business requirements into technical requirements, and design robust and scalable integration solutions using Dell Boomi.

- Development & Implementation : Design, develop, implement, and support integration projects, adhering to industry best practices and utilizing various design patterns. This includes building and deploying Boomi processes, maps, and connectors.

- Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with different application teams to design, develop, and test integration processes, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Boomi Expertise : Demonstrate strong development experience with Boomi integrations, including a deep understanding of various design patterns and best practices.

- API Management : Possess strong experience in Boomi API Management, including the creation and management of API proxies, security implementations (OAuth, etc.), and gateway configurations.

- Connector Proficiency : Exhibit a good understanding of different Boomi components and various generic connectors, including experience configuring and utilizing them effectively.

- Data Format Handling : Hands-on experience working with various data formats such as REST, SOAP, OAuth, JSON, XML, Databases, and Flat Files. Demonstrate the ability to transform and map data between different formats.

- Boomi Platform Administration : Good understanding of Atom Queue, Shared Webserver, and Atom Management, including the ability to troubleshoot and manage these components.

- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively debug and resolve integration issues.

- Scripting : Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for custom logic and data transformations within Boomi processes.

- Testing & Deployment : Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of integrations. Experience with deployment processes and best practices.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for developed integrations, including design specifications, process flows, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience as a Dell Boomi Developer.

- Deep understanding of integration patterns and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere platform.

- Strong skills in Boomi process development, mapping, and connector configuration.

- Expertise in Boomi API Management (proxies, security, gateways).

- Proficiency with REST, SOAP, OAuth, JSON, XML, Databases, and Flat File integrations.

- Experience with Groovy scripting.

- Knowledge of Atom Queue, Shared Webserver, and Atom Management.

- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with other integration platforms.

- Knowledge of cloud-based integration solutions.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
