Senior Data Engineer

What Youll Do

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for implementing Data Warehousing solutions using a combination of BI tools Snowflake, SQL Server, PowerBI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Python, AWS Services, Airflow, DBT Modeling and automation. Person should have deep SQL experience, an understanding of modern data stacks and should be able to design, develop and test Data Integration and Reporting solutions. Must have exposure to Reporting Tools (SSRS, PowerBI), Data Integration tools and experience in integrating SaaS applications like Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, REST API etc.

• Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive operational data store/data warehouse/data mart design and configuration.
• Design, and maintain reports using Snowflake/SQL Server, SQL Server reporting Service (SSRS), Power BI, Python.
• You should use ETL tools to load operational data stores/data warehouse.
• Data modeling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
• You should provide support as required to ensure the viability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments to both internal and external users.
• Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
• You should design and Implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
• Maintain JIRA, Wiki and project documentation as needed.
• Should be flexible and available on US timing as and when required for team collaborations.
• You will be reporting to Senior Technical Lead

• You should have 5+ years experience in data engineering field, with deep SQL knowledge.
• Strong experience in Snowflake/SQL Server, Python, AWS Services, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, ETL Tools (DBT, Airflow) is must.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures.
• Strong experience in Data Warehouse, data modeling and ETL design concepts.
• Should have integrated SaaS systems like Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite along with Relational Databases, REST API, FTP/SFTP...etc.
• Knowledge of AWS technologies (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift...etc.)
