Senior Rubber Technologist (Diploma/B.tech in Rubber)

Base Location- Haridwar

Essential Qualification: - Diploma in Rubber Technology (DIRI formerly LPRI) /B.Tech-Rubber/M.Tech-Rubber (As per RDSO Norms)

*Note- Candidate Must have Minimum 12 + Years of experience after Diploma in Rubber Technology or should have 5 + Years of experience after B. tech in Rubber Technology

*Tire Manufacturing industry not preferred

Experience: - Min 15-25 yrs.

Preferred Experience: -Rubber/Rubber to Metal Bonded

Preferred Industry: - Railway/Auto

Key Indicators: -

• Exposure of Latest manufacturing Method, Machine & Testing equipments
• Rubber Mixing intermix, Bunbury, kneader, bar well, open mixing mill. Metal Treatment phosphating line, ultra-sonic degreasing line, Different size of shot & sand blasting machine, Adhesive application auto spray machine. Rubber Moulding & Extrusion - Injection, transfer injection, compression molding machine, Cold feed Extrusion, hot feed Extruder, continues vulcanization (Microwave & Glass bed)

Job Responsibilities

Knowledge of Compound Development

• Development of Rubber Formulation & QA.
• Knowledge of Compound Development
• Basic mechanical testing like- stiffness, physical properties, endurances etc.
• Experience on rubber to metal bonded products only
• Different types of Rubber knowledge
• Rubber mixing, Development of rubber formulation & QA
• Strong Audit management.
• Ensure optimum productivity / output of production Equipment e.g. Plastic Moulding, RIM (PU) Injection Molding& Extrusion, Intermix section (Rubber Mixing)
• Responsible for every aspect of Technical of whole plant including process control Mixing control, Product functional & fitment validation control that fulfil the customer specific requirements
• To coordinate with the customer during new product development stage.
• Determines ways to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve overall company performance
• Provide technical support to production & QA.
• Process improvement projects
• To achieve consistent compound properties as per the specifications through efficient processing characteristics (Compound mixing to end product).
