The Finance and Ops professional will work closely with the CFO's office on key deliverables including performance monitoring and review of portfolio companies, financial reporting and audit of the Fund and manager, management of investor level compliances, stakeholder management, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the financial and business performance of the portfolio companies of the Fund on monthly / quarterly / annual basis including monitoring of their internal controls. Assist the companies on setting up the MIS for reporting to the Fund
- Responsible for the Financial Reporting of Avaana Entities including an Investment Manager LLP, Funds and an NBFC
- Assisting in the independent valuation exercise of the Fund portfolio companies
- Responsible for internal MIS management of Avaana entities
- Investor Compliance management and reporting
- Lead statutory and other regulatory audit processes (including inspection from SEBI, RBI & any other regulatory body) and ensure seamless closure within the timelines
- Stakeholder Management (auditors, trustees, bankers and other stakeholders) on a regular basis
- Assist the CFO in any strategic matters across Avaana entities
Required Qualifications and Attributes:
- CA - with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in financial and business analysis of companies, financial modelling, (Prior experience with VC/PE fund or an advisory firm preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to work across teams
- Highly self-motivated, self-starter with a proactive approach
- Detail-oriented and analytical with a strong orientation towards learning and growth
