Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of a group of projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
- Supervise a team of 40-50 consultants in the Centre of Excellence (CoE), fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Build, mentor, and retain top talent; handle headcount planning, hiring, appraisals, and separations.
- Take managerial decisions that are in the best interest of both short-term and long-term organizational goals.
Project and Program Management:
- Oversee and coordinate multiple IT and BPR projects, demonstrating expertise in technology, business processes, and change management.
- Manage project planning, prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in risk management, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met while mitigating potential issues.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing communications, escalations, and expectations.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
- Lead the presales process, helping to qualify business opportunities, validate scope, provide estimates, and write/review Statements of Work (SOW).
Process Adherence and Operational Excellence:
- Ensure adherence to organizational processes, templates, checklists, and project management frameworks.
- Facilitate cadence meetings, provide status/progress updates, and resolve conflicts/issues within the team.
- Continuously improve processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
Strategic Leadership:
- Demonstrate solution and thought leadership, providing guidance to team members and stakeholders on business and project-related challenges.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, anticipating changes in the business environment and leading the team through transitions.
- Drive practice management, process improvements, and strategic initiatives to further the organization's goals.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in program management, people management, and practice management.
- Expertise in business process re-engineering (BPR), product development, supply chain management, and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Sprint Planning.
- Experience with proposals, estimates, Statements of Work (SOW), and contract management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Excellent customer management skills with a proven track record of maintaining client satisfaction.
- Ability to make informed managerial decisions, balancing short-term objectives with long-term organizational goals.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Education & Experience:
- MBA (Preferred) or BTech - From top 15 Institutes
- 15+ Years in large Consulting / Product firms (MNCs) providing process and IT solutions.
- Experience in SCM, Logistics, Process Re-engineering (preferred)
- Experience in Cement, Metals, Chemicals, FMCG is desirable
Any other Specific Requirement : PMP certified (before 2019)
