We are looking for the following position for our Automotive Electronics Department (AED) Department

Designation: Deputy Manager (Reliability Testing and Validation Engineer) 01 No. (ARAI Regular)

Location: Kothrud

Candidate should have BE/B. Tech degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics domain. Candidate possessing the necessary skills and experience shall apply for the position.

Job Description:

• Familiar with various national and international Environmental Testing (Climatic, Vibration and Mechanical Shock Tests) Standards used for automotive components/assemblies.
• Familiarity with national/international Environmental Test Standards used for railway, defence, consumer and commercial industries.
• Feasibility analysis of customer requirement w.r.t lab capability and interact with customer.
• Perform test setup and execute all types of Environmental Tests (Climatic, Vibration, Mechanical Shock, Ingress Protection (IP), Corrosion, etc.) on various ESA (electronic sub-assemblies) and ensure test specifications are followed correctly.
• Record product condition/behaviour during and after test and create concise and clear test records. Analyze test results and identify compliance w.r.t the standard requirement.
• Post process test data and prepare test reports.
• Understanding of xEV components and their functionality.
• Define resources needed to maintain new and existing equipment, perform routine planned and predictive maintenance. Be involved with general test equipment maintenance and lab expansions
• Well versed with the instrumentation, usage, and data consumption from accelerometers, strain gages etc.
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines. Able to manage multiple projects, multiple deadlines, assuring schedules are defined and met, to prioritize work appropriately to meet commitments.
• Well versed with Test Laboratory Accreditation standard like ISO/IEC 17025:2017, QMS Certification ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001.
• Work as part of team to co-ordinate test activities.
• Monitoring test equipments and reporting anomalies or faults.
• Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail, strong in verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and deal confidently with customers.
• Conversant with MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Experience: Preferably 8-10 years of experience in Automotive Reliability Testing and Validation

Other requirements: Should be ready to work in shifts & willingness to travel
